A problem with the SAS Signal will cause a fault with any of the systems that use the signal directly, or indirectly. If the Steering Angle Sensor (SAS) needs to be changed, many vehicle’s require the new sensor to be calibrated. This tool will allow you to carry out steering angle re-calibration on supported models. ABS/AIRBAG: Diagnose ABS/SRS system codes, read and clear DTCs and turn off ABS/SRS warning light, retrieves ABS/SRS ECU information, etc. Throttle Position Sensor Reset DPF Regeneration or Reset (Diesel Particulate Filter) – note that a forced/manual DPF regen using this scanner is only possible on vehicles that allow this function. Some vehicles do not allow a forced/manual DPF regen using third-party tools as the process will need to be done manually on the vehicle via user inputs. DPF Regens may not be possible if your soot level is not within manufacturer’s specifications to allow a static and manual/forced DPF Regen. Users must also select the right engine code/type that matches their vehicle when performing a DPF regen in order for it to work.
